Biography

Cheri Boyer’s work with international students over the past 15 years at the Center for English as a Second Language (CESL) has given her keen insights into the challenges international students face.

In addition to language, cultural expectations must be learned in order for them to thrive in the university setting. She has dedicated herself to aiding these students in their adjustment to American universities and in their use of the English language.

Cheri is most interested in students in the field of business and believes that both written and spoken skills are essential to their success.
